Night Warden began as a first-generation 1972 Ford Bronco and evolved into a complete ground-up re-engineering that redefines what a classic utility vehicle can become. This build was not simply restored — it was redesigned at a structural level to create a seamless four-door configuration while preserving the proportions and spirit of the original platform.
To achieve this transformation, the original chassis was extended by 24 inches and reinforced to ensure structural integrity, long-term durability, and modern drivability. The body underwent extensive custom fabrication, including hand-built rear doors, fabricated pillars, modified floors, and shortened rear quarters. The most critical challenge was maintaining factory-correct body line continuity across the new extended layout. Every line, contour, and transition was aligned with precision to ensure the vehicle appears cohesive and intentional rather than modified.
Under the hood, Night Warden is powered by a 5.0L Gen II Coyote engine, delivering modern performance and reliability. Paired with a 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission and push-button shifter, the powertrain integration was executed to provide contemporary capability while maintaining the rugged character expected from a Bronco.
Inside, the vehicle transitions from vintage utility to modern refinement. A premium custom-stitched saddle leather interior provides warmth and contrast against the exterior presence. The Dakota Digital dash integrates modern instrumentation without disrupting the classic aesthetic. Power windows and power locks further elevate usability while remaining subtle within the overall design.
Night Warden is not a restoration. It is a structural and mechanical transformation that bridges classic heritage with modern performance and comfort.
At the heart of Night Warden sits a 5.0L Gen II Coyote V8, delivering modern reliability and performance within a classic platform. The engine integration was carefully executed to ensure clean fitment, proper cooling, and balanced weight distribution. Electronic management and supporting systems were installed to provide consistent drivability while maintaining a refined engine bay presentation.
Power is delivered through a 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission, paired with a push-button shifter for modern control and responsiveness. The transmission integration was engineered to complement the extended chassis structure, ensuring smooth power delivery and confident performance whether cruising or under load.
The original Bronco frame was extended by 24 inches and reinforced to accommodate the custom four-door configuration. Structural modifications were engineered for long-term strength and stability, maintaining proper geometry and alignment throughout the extended platform. Every modification was executed to preserve the integrity and drivability of the original vehicle while supporting modern performance demands.
Transforming a two-door Bronco into a seamless four-door configuration required extensive fabrication. Custom-built rear doors, hand-formed pillars, modified floors, and shortened rear quarters were designed and constructed in-house. The greatest focus was placed on aligning original body lines across the extended layout, ensuring the finished result appears cohesive, factory-intentional, and structurally sound.
The cabin blends vintage character with modern refinement through a premium custom-stitched saddle leather interior. A Dakota Digital dash provides precise, contemporary instrumentation while preserving a clean and classic visual presentation. Power windows and power locks were integrated to enhance usability without disrupting the Bronco’s original design language.
